Kitchen Cabinet Door Styles

Lioher makes five cabinet doors. The one you pick decides how many colors you can choose, whether you’ll see a handle and whether the door looks framed or seamless. Here’s each style, and which kitchen it fits.

Flatte

Flatte in a Zenit Pompei finish — one of 107 finishes across the Luxe high-gloss, Zenit super matte and Syncron woodgrain families.

A true flat-slab door, edge-banded on all four sides. No bevel, no profile, no relief — just a continuous surface, edge to edge.

Flatte is the workhorse of modern cabinetry: 107 finishes across three technologies. Luxe high-gloss (31 colors like Blanco HG, Cashmere HG and Antracita HG), Zenit super matte (22 colors including Blanco SM, Cashmere SM, Coral SM and Verde Salvia SM), and Syncron woodgrain and texture (47 designs like Rosales 1–4, Como Ash 1–3, Muratti 1–4 and Nocce 1). Because it’s a plain panel, the same door doubles as wall paneling or desktops when you want the kitchen to keep going past the cabinets.

Finger Pull

A 22 mm slab with a recessed grip routed along the edge — the handle is built into the door. No hardware, no protruding pulls, no visual interruption.

The thicker slab gives you a deeper grip channel that fits the hand naturally — ergonomics thinner doors can’t deliver. Offered in nine curated finishes across Luxe high-gloss (Blanco HG, Cashmere HG), Syncron woodgrain (Velazquez 2, Nocce 1, Picasso 2, Muratti 4) and Zenit super matte (Blanco SM, Cashmere SM, Black SM) — Lioher’s most-specified colors, chosen for the close-up scrutiny handle-free design invites.

Cava

Cava in a Syncron woodgrain — vertical grooves in the 8 mm center panel are what separate it from a standard shaker.

The Lioher shaker — frame around an 8 mm center panel — with continuous vertical grooves running the full height.

Where a flat slab would feel too quiet and a traditional shaker would feel too busy, Cava sits between them. The grooves create a directional pattern that reads as architectural rather than decorative — a quiet rhythm that shifts under raking light. 11 finishes, split between Syncron woodgrain (Nocce 1, Rosales 1–3, Como Ash 2, Woodline 3, Muratti 4) and Zenit super matte (Blanco SM, Cashmere SM, Antracita SM, Agave SM).

Slim Cava

Lioher Slim Cava shaker cabinet doors in a two-tone kitchen: Syncron woodgrain lowers with Blanco SM Zenit super matte uppers
Slim Cava paired two ways — a Syncron woodgrain on the lower cabinets, Cashmere SM Zenit super matte on the uppers. Narrower rails than standard Cava.

The classic five-piece shaker, redrawn for the way modern kitchens look today. A 22 mm slab with slim rail profiles — substantial in hand, narrower in framing than a traditional shaker.

Slim Cava keeps the honest joinery of a rail-and-stile build but trims the framing so the door reads as architectural detailing rather than period reference. 11 curated finishes across Syncron woodgrain (Muratti 4, Nocce 1, Picasso 2, Velazquez 2, Rosales 1–3) and Zenit super matte (Blanco SM, Cashmere SM, Black SM, Antracita SM). The door for clients who want interiors that feel tailored and warm — considered, understated, lasting.

Mallorca

A Flatte slab with an aluminum J-handle inserted into the top edge. Integrated handle, no separate hardware — and because the base is a Flatte, you can spec it in almost any finish in the catalog.

Inspired by European minimalism, Mallorca is the right door when you want a kitchen that looks built, not assembled. 104 finishes — nearly the entire Lioher system — including high-gloss solids (Blanco HG, Coral HG, Azul Marino HG), super matte colors (Coral SM, Agua Marina SM, Titan 1 SM) and Syncron woodgrains (Rosales, Muratti, Nocce, Woodline). Pair the aluminum handle with anything from a saturated color to a deep-grain wood.

Five doors, one build

Whichever door you pick, the construction is the same:

  • PUR tech edge banding. Premium polyurethane adhesive — highest resistance to moisture, steam and daily heat.
  • ±1/32″ tolerance. Installs precisely and clean every time.
  • Soft, eased corners. European routing produces gentle, hand-finished radii on every edge.
  • Zero edge line. Invisible glue seam — the door reads as a single, continuous surface.
  • 5-year warranty across all five styles.

The style changes what you see. The build stays the same.

Here’s every door in the line, side by side:
